Microsoft Entourage 2004
Configuration Instructions
To set up Entourage 2004 for Exchange on an Apple computer:
- Launch Microsoft Entourage 2004.
- Click on Entourage from the Toolbar and select Account Settings.
- Click on the Exchange tab and click on the New button.
- Click on the Configure account manually button.
- Enter an Account name of your choosing
- Enter your name as you wish it to appear under Name
- Enter your email address (e.g. NetID@uiuc.edu)
- For Account ID enter your NetID
- For Domain enter ad.uiuc.edu
- Enter your Active Directory Password and check Save password... if you desire not
to enter it each time you start Entourage.
- For "Exchange server" enter exchange.ad.uiuc.edu
- Check the box next to This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL).
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- For Public Folders server enter exchange.ad.uiuc.edu/public
- Select DAV service requires secure connection (SSL)
- For LDAP server enter ad.uiuc.edu
- Check This server requires me to log on
- Check Override default LDAP port and enter 3268
- For Maximum number of results to return enter 1000
- For Search base enter dc=uiuc, dc=edu
- Click OK and your email is set up
